Residential Manager- Forest City 

Responsibilities:
As the Residential Manager, you will oversee the overall operation of the Community Living Home assigned to you. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life, fostering community, and ensuring the health and safety of residents with intellectual disabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to staff members to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and agency policies to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

  • Collaborating with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to develop and implement individualized support plans.

  • Monitoring the effectiveness of support services and making adjustments as needed to meet the evolving needs of residents.

  • Addressing any concerns or issues that arise within the community living home, including staffing, facility maintenance, and resident well-being.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of experience working directly with persons with disabilities OR Associate’s Degree and 2 years of experience OR High School graduate/GED equivalent and 3 years of experience.

  • Minimum of 6 months experience working under 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations preferred.

  • Valid PA Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and Federal Background Check with acceptable results.

  • Physical examination by an agency-approved physician.

  • Completion of New Employee Initial Orientation training and annual training requirements as per service licensing regulations and agency policy.

  • Successful completion of Medication Administration, First Aid, CPR, and CPI courses within an acceptable time frame.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    You will be directly responsible for supervising staff members, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluation. You will also be responsible for resolving conflicts, addressing complaints, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws.

  • On-Call Responsibilities:
    The Residential Manager will have on-call obligations as scheduled by the Residential Program Specialist. On-call duties may include responding to medical emergencies, staff call-offs, incidents, accidents, weather-related issues, and house or vehicle emergencies.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support tailored to the needs and wants of individuals served, promoting independence, integration, and quality of life. Part-Time Residential DSP Direct Support Professional- Forest City, PA

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, your primary role is to provide personalized support to individuals served to promote their independence, integration, and overall quality of life. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents. We currently have an open position for the Forest City, Saturday and Sunday 11p -7a shift.

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, your primary role is to provide personalized support to individuals served to promote their independence, integration, and overall quality of life. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive resident environment. We have an open position for the Hawley CLA, Saturday and Sunday 8A- 4P shift.

Home Based Services 

HBW Direct Care DSP

Home-Based Direct Care Service Providers to provide Home and Community Habilitation, Temp Respite, and Transportation services to individuals in Wayne, Pike Carbon, Monroe, Lackawanna and Susquehanna counties.  The provider will assist the individual with developing healthy habits and social skills.  Experience with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnosis is strongly preferred.

There are several positions open with varying hours; part time and full time. 

HBW Direct Care DSP Waymart, PA

Will assist the individual to become more independent by engaging in tasks that promote independence. These may include but are not limited to Daily hygiene, meal preparation, communication skills, and social skills.

Wage $14.50 | Part Time 6 hours per week

That's why we have been offering Lifesharing services for many years, pairing long-term living arrangements with host families who open their homes and hearts to these individuals. Our providers can be a single adult, couple, or family unit, and they may either rent or own their home. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on someone's life, giving them a chance to thrive in a loving family environment.

*providers receive a monthly stipend for care & are not considered employees of HRC.
