Program Specialist 

As a Home-Based Services Program Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families within the HBW program. This position involves developing, coordinating, assessing, and implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs), ensuring quality services, and overseeing HBW employees. You will work directly with individuals to enhance their independence while collaborating with families and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide case management support for individuals and families in the HBW program.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to meet program requirements.

  • Conduct scheduled home visits and document case notes.

  • Coordinate services with other providers and community resources.

  • Review and approve daily service notes and case documentation.

  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing service providers.

  • Participate in ISP team meetings and help develop annual program goals.

  • Assist families in accessing additional resources, such as assistive technology or home modifications.

  • Ensure compliance with all agency policies, safety measures, and state regulations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in a related field + 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 2 years of experience

  • Associates degree in a related field with + 3 years of experience

Additional Requirements:
✔ Must be 21 years or older
✔ Valid PA Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
✔ Ability to pass required background checks (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, Federal)
✔ Successful completion of CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training within required timeframes
✔ Ability to complete ACRE Online Training within 180 days of hire

I.T Specialist 

The Human Resources Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable I.T Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in information technology and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. At Human Resources Center, Inc., we prioritize the growth and well-being of our team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support via SETWorks, MITC, and ECP Helpdesk systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with general hardware, Windows operating systems, and Office 365 applications.

  • Maintain and configure networking solutions, including Meraki security appliances.

  • Offer excellent customer service, addressing and resolving technical concerns efficiently.

  • Travel as needed to provide on-site support and maintenance.

  • Support and troubleshoot Apple products and ensure compatibility with existing systems.

  • Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet the changing demands of the role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in helpdesk support, hardware maintenance, and network administration.

  • Familiarity with Meraki security solutions and cloud-managed networking.

  • Strong understanding of Windows environments and Office 365 applications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and emergency call-outs.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Home Based Services 

HBW Direct Care DSP

Human Resources Center, Inc. (HRC) is seeking self-motivated and compassionate Home-Based Direct Care Service Providers to provide Home and Community Habilitation, Temp Respite, and Transportation services.

The provider will assist the individual with developing healthy habits and social skills. Experience with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnosis is strongly preferred.

There are several positions open with varying hours: part-time and full-time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Consent to and satisfactorily pass pre-employment background checks, reference checks, and physical exams.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Agree to carry out the responsibilities associated with individuals’ needs based on the Individual Support Plan (ISP), or other individual plans and company policies

That's why we have been offering Lifesharing services for many years, pairing long-term living arrangements with host families who open their homes and hearts to these individuals. Our providers can be a single adult, couple, or family unit, and they may either rent or own their home. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on someone's life, giving them a chance to thrive in a loving family environment.
