A Residential Direct Support Professional is responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents. The primary role of the Direct Support Professional is to provide support tailored to needs and wants of individuals served that will promote independence, integration, and quality of life. Travel and/or transportation is required with this position.

Forest City 10:30 - 4:00PM Sunday

To provide training and support for students, business co-workers, families, and district personnel to ensure success during the worksite rotations and/or a competitive job. 

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree preferred with experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Must Possess a Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record as determined by a motor vehicle report.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Part Time- Residential DSP Direct Support Professional- Honesdale

Honesdale 11p- 7a Friday and Saturday

Day Program DSP- Direct Support Professional-Church Street Honesdale 

A Direct Support Professional in the ATF/CPS/VTC is responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for consumers served. The primary role of a Direct Service Professional is to provide supports tailored to the needs and wants of individuals served that will promote independence, community participation and quality of life. Travel and/or transportation is required with this position. Monday- Friday.

Volunteer with Us 
HBW Direct Care DSP

Home-Based Direct Care Service Providers to provide Home and Community Habilitation, Temp Respite, and Transportation services to individuals in Wayne, Pike Carbon, Monroe, Lackawanna and Susquehanna counties.  The provider will assist the individual with developing healthy habits and social skills.  Experience with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnosis is strongly preferred.

There are several positions open with varying hours; part time and full time.

Lifesharing providers welcome up to two individuals with disabilities into their home as a long-term living arrangement. Providers can be a single adult, couple, or family unit and may either rent or own their home. Lifesharing is a rewarding and life-changing opportunity that requires compassionate providers who want to make an impact on an individual's life.

*providers receive a monthly stipend for care & are not considered employees of HRC.
